Motion Graphics & Animation Projects
Animations created to give visual elements to Graphics and designs
Year :
2026
Industry :
Visual Effects
Client :
John Hentges
Project Duration :
6 weeks

Objective :
Create a collection of short motion graphics projects that use animation, timing, transitions, and visual effects to make static designs feel more engaging and professional. The goal was to practice Adobe After Effects while building pieces for branding, announcements, and app/product presentation.

Synopsis :
This project collection includes a Burger King logo animation, an Easter announcement animation, and an app launch concept. Each animation focused on a different purpose: brand motion, event promotion, and product presentation. Together, they show how motion can support visual communication and make digital content feel more polished.

Process :
I built each animation in Adobe After Effects by organizing visual assets into layers, planning the timing of each movement, and using keyframes to control transitions. I experimented with easing, opacity changes, masks, shape movement, text animation, and visual effects to guide attention and create smoother motion.
Each project required testing and adjustment to make sure the pacing felt clear, the message stayed readable, and the motion supported the design rather than distracting from it.
Results :
The final collection demonstrates my ability to create motion graphics for multiple design contexts, including branding, announcements, and app launch visuals. These projects helped me improve my understanding of animation timing, layer organization, visual hierarchy, and how movement can make a design feel more complete and engaging.
The work helped me strengthen my design skills by showing how motion can improve communication, guide attention, and make digital content feel more complete and engaging.
